BSides Nairobi

BSides Nairobi is the Nairobi chapter of the globally renowned Security BSides organization, a non-profit community that has hosted over 750 events across 56 countries.

BSides was founded to create an inclusive space where the cybersecurity professionals, hobbyists, and enthusiasts could engage, talk shop, research, and innovate.

Our mission is to cultivate and empower the information security community in Kenya by providing a collaborative and inclusive platform that fosters knowledge sharing, innovation, and professional growth.

Our Vision is to be the leading information security community in Kenya, recognized for our commitment to innovation, inclusivity, and the continuous development of cybersecurity expertise.

We are hosting the BSides Nairobi 2024 Conference focusing on four critical thematic areas:

• Critical Information Infrastructure, 
• Cloud Computing,
• Artificial Intelligence, 
• Data Privacy.

These themes reflect current trends and address areas of significant impact on society today.

Our target audiences are cybersecurity professionals in operational and managerial roles. They come from the private sector, public sector, government, law enforcement, and academia.
